Let’s say you are at work and you somehow manage to delete an important Word document by accident. What happens now? Will you be man enough (or woman enough) to tell your boss about it and face his or her wrath? Well… with FineRecovery, you don’t have to worry anymore.
FineRecovery is a cool software that recovers files that you have deleted from your hard drive. And the best thing about it is that it is free! There is software available that you can download from the Net that recovers your deleted data, but you have to pay for it. But not with FineRecovery.
Windows doesn’t actually remove your deleted files when you delete it, it keeps them hidden in the drive. FineRecovery works by using an engine that scans your computer to recover your deleted files. This software can also recover files that have been damaged or corrupted because of virus attacks, power failures or damage to the partition structure of your hard drive. It works around bad sectors in your hard drive.
To recover files, first open the software. It has an easy to sue interface. In the top menu, click on File and then Scan. FineRecovery will then show a list of deleted files that it has found. From this list, select the file that you want to recover and right-click it. In the box that pops up, click on Recover and select the location to which you want the file saved. And that is all that you need to do.
The software works on all Windows platforms and can even be run from a USB storage device. You should note that FineRecovery will not damage, write or make changes to the drive that it is scanning - it employs a read-only file recovery approach which makes it safe to use.
