Making a zombie game isn't easy, especially when the space is already flooded with masterpieces like Resident Evil 4. Valve has taken the brave leap with Left 4 Dead, a co-op zombie basher.
The game is looking really good, especially with the latest trailer release called The Tank Trailer. The trailer shows off a boss or mini-boss character that the players will have to face. The basic game play revolves around killing mindless-but-surprisingly-fast zombies, but any FPS veteran will agree that a challenging character like the Tank at regular intervals can make the game more interesting and co-op more fun.
We have really high hopes of L4D, which will take co-op gaming to a new level.
Left 4 Dead will be available on the PC and Xbox 360, and Valve might develop a PS3 version, but it doesn't look like it'll happen this year.
