Sony to Launch Hanuman Game for PS2

The console game is entirely developed by Indian Game Studio - Aurona Technologies and is playable in Hindi as well. It will be available at a retail price of Rs. 499.

While most loved Anurag Kashyap's animated Hanuman Returns on the silver screen, as well as on the mobile, Aurona Technologies have developed the game Hanuman: Boy Warrior on the saga of the mythological Hindu god.

A player starts-off as a powerless Hanuman, meets sages and eventually learns more about his powers. With his mace, Hanuman can do some deadly moves to floor the demons - Asuras. The game will have four main opponents - Shirkasur, Thakshaka, Bhramarakshasa and Mayurasa.

For every Asura killed, Hanuman gets a life force. This life force is to be used to bring those stone-turned humans, trees or animals back to life. The ultimate aim of Hanuman is to banish as many Asuras as possible and free the Sun.

Hanuman: Boy Warrior would be worth checking out, especially because the animated character is already quite popular.
