Dante's style and persona are unmatched and although he isn't a god, he sure is a kicka$$ devil. Devil May Cry was a smash hit after release and since then has spawned four sequels and many new playable characters. But none of the sequels or new characters match up to the original game. Dante's unique combo of gun and sword has led to uber-cool combat and delivered some really wacky background score.
