Impressions of Afro Samurai

An Afro sporting Samurai is as unique as a Kung Fu learning Panda.. Afro Samurai is a very popular 2007 anime staring Samuel L Jackson as the voice of Afro. The series was short and only lasted 5 episodes but it was immensely popular. The anime's unique art and style plus voice over by Jules Winnfield (google this) made the anime a tremendous success, so a game based on the same shouldn't be a surprise. The game is slated to release in January next year, pushed back a few months by the developer for further polishing out the final product. Following is a small brief about the character and the game:

Afro Samurai is the story of a young Afro who watches his father die in front of his eyes when he is a kid. His father was the world's number one Swordsman, but he was killed by a devilish contraption of a man known as Justice. Afro's father used to wear a ceremonial headband that titled him Number One, Justice takes the headband after killing Afro's father and challenges Afro to avenge his father's death telling him that he would wait for Afro. The basic plot revolves around Afro and his fight against Justice. There are many sub plots but I don't want to spoil those for you, I suggest watching the anime or waiting for the game.
