This is a situation any company would love to be in, especially during these recessionary times. The demand for the iPhone 3GS ever since its launch has been so high, the company is finding it hard to supply enough handsets. Apple has managed to sell a whopping 5.2 million sparkling new iPhone 3GS units in just over a month. This is way higher than what the iPhone 3G achieved back in 2008 during its launch.

Currently the iPhone 3GS is available in 18 countries and all 18 countries are facing acute shortage. A senior company official has also confirmed that the supply woes for the iPhone is expected to continue for an unspecified amount of time. With the roll out in other countries too scheduled, it sure is a harrowing time for you, if you are lucky enough to work at the iPhone factory!
