iPhone-What next?

As the Worldwide Developer Conference 2009 is nearing, one can expect more leaks about various products. Two days back, a Chinese blog, UMPCFever, displayed blurry pictures of next generation iPhone prototype's compass and auto-focus function of camera. The blog post has been taken off now.

However, 9to5Mac reader named Bruce Poon posted a close translation of the blog post in the site's comments.

According to the post, the next-iPhone, that was clicked, had the auto-focus feature with a blue square on the screen in the camera mode. That square on the screen can be moved and tapped to select the objects. The person who posted photos compared the new iPhone with an iPhone 2G and iPhone 3G.

The next iPhone model was already rumored to have a digital compass. From the blurry photos, the explanation for the compass feature stated that direction was immediately shown by the need after tapping on the screen once the compass app is launched.
