Once launched, it will be Nokia's first IP-54 certified phone and will compete against the likes of the recently launched Samsung Marine. Like the Samsung, the 3720 Classic boasts of a sealed body, which gives it a decent waterproof ability. Another feature common to the Samsung Marie is the back cover of the phone that is held in place with the help of a screw. While this may cause issues for those of you who frequently change SIM cards, it does help the phone last longer and take whatever abuses that come its way It also comes with an LED flashlight. On the software front, there is a Maps application that's preloaded with the phone.

It comes with 20MB of internal memory and packs in a 1GB card. The screen is a 2.2 inch 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA) affair. As for the camera, this ones got a 2megapixel sensor that should help you with some casual photography. The 3720 Classic will be priced at around the $225 (Rs. 10,000 approx.) mark and will made available in Europe soon, followed by Asian markets.
